Business Development

Business Development

As a non-profit, we still have to function with ‘business’ in mind to create a sustainable future for our chapter and its membership. This area of opportunity helps to find viable revenue sources, create partnerships with the local business community, and in some cases run subsequent business ventures.  Have an entrepreneurial spirit or want help networking in our community? Looking to grow in event management? Here’s your chance!

Projects Include:

  • Zombie Contagion Haunted House – six month long small business raising over $50,000 for the chapter.
  • World Class Wednesdays – 8 to 10 week music series at Peninsula Town Center with beer, wine and liquor sales
  • TidewaterBiz Lunch & Learn Series – sponsor of young professional development book series and training
